For the first time, we are allowing members of the SG Convertible Club (SGCC) to be creative with our logo!

Be Creative!

You need not be a designer or an artist! All you need is to decorate or design an 8 Cushion (“The Company”) logo – with almost anything – the only limitation is your imaginations!

Given Themes

Choose to create either Astrology, Covid-19, Ecology or Lifestyle.

Prizes to be won!

Our judges are Mr Jeff Tay (Designer of 8 Cushion’s official logo), Mr Albert Tan (Multidisciplinary Visual and Media Professional of Olive Tree Studio) and Mr Amit Ghodke (Senior Program Manager). Each winner stands a chance to win one of the following prizes:

1st Prize: S$800.00
2nd Prize: S$500.00
3rd Prize: S$300.00
7 x Consolation Prizes: S$30.00 Cold Storage Vouchers

Guidelines

1. Only existing members of SGCC can participate.

2. Creation must use only one of the themes: Astrology, Covid-19, Ecology or Lifestyle – the audience must be able to tell from the creation that it is made for 8 CUSHION.

3. Be creative and you can use any media but must be static (no motion or animation). For eg. hand-drawn with color pencils and watercolor etc, the use of real objects, computer graphics using a software, etc.

4. Output for submission for the final must be as follows:

Only one (1) entry per member
Creation must be visually clear, not blurred
Size is 800 pixel by 800 pixel (72dpi to 300dpi)
Format to be in either JPEG or PNG

5. Creation MUST NOT contain vulgarities, pornographic materials/visuals and should not contain message that is religious, or contributes to hatred and racism.

6. Cliparts, work of others and use of logo templates are NOT ALLOWED.

7. By submitting your creation, you agree that the judges’ decisions are final, and should not be challenged. No reasons or explanations will be given for creations selected and not selected.

8. By submitting your creation, you agree that The Company reserves the rights to use the creation for its marketing purposes, including but not limited to, publishing it on Facebook, other social media platforms and its own website, with or without your consent.

9. At any point of time, the company has the right to withdraw the contest at its sole discretion, with or without prior reasons, and shall not be held liable for any damage caused by this decision.

10. Neither The Company, SGCC nor its committee members shall not be held responsible for any damage or losses caused to its participants for this contest.
